Disease Name:Carcinoma, Non-Small-Cell Lunglung non-small cell carcinoma
Category:MeSHDisease Ontology
Type:Neoplasms//Respiratory Tract Diseasesdisease of anatomical entity//disease of cellular proliferation
Define:A heterogeneous aggregate of at least three distinct histological types of lung cancer, including SQUAMOUS CELL CARCINOMA; ADENOCARCINOMA; and LARGE CELL CARCINOMA. They are dealt with collectively because of their shared treatment strategy.A lung carcinoma that is characterized as any type of epithelial lung cancer other than small cell lung carcinoma.

[1] PubMed ID:38289488
Disease Name:Carcinoma, Non-Small-Cell Lung
Tissue:H1299 cells
Dysfunction Pattern:Up-Regulation
Validated Method:PCR//Western blot//High-throughput sequencing
Description:tsRNA-07804 was remarkably upregulated in vitamin D-treated H1299 cells.
Comparision:Vitamin D-treated VS Control
Mechanism:Functional experiments indicated that vitamin D led to mitochondrial dysfunction, repressed the proliferation, migration, invasion, and promoted apoptosis of H1299 cells via regulating tsRNA-07804. Mechanistically, tsRNA-07804 induced mitochondrial dysfunction and inhibited the malignancy of H1299 cells by suppressing CRKL expression. In vivo experiments showed that vitamin D inhibited the tumor growth in NSCLC by increasing tsRNA-07804 expression.
