Disease ID:D010195DOID:2913
Disease Name:Pancreatitisacute pancreatitis
Category:MeSHDisease Ontology
Type:Digestive System Diseasesdisease of anatomical entity
Define:INFLAMMATION of the PANCREAS. Pancreatitis is classified as acute unless there are computed tomographic or endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatographic findings of CHRONIC PANCREATITIS (International Symposium on Acute Pancreatitis, Atlanta, 1992). The two most common forms of acute pancreatitis are ALCOHOLIC PANCREATITIS and gallstone pancreatitis.A pancreatitis that is characterized by inflammation of the pancreas over a short period of time and has symptoms of severe abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fever, and shock.

Reference

[1] PubMed ID:34643045
Disease Name:pancreatitis
Tissue:Pancreas
Dysfunction Pattern:Down-Regulation
Validated Method:PCR//Western blot//EDU//Cell proliferation assay//Pull down assay//Sequencing
Description:The rat pancreatic tissues were collected, and our data supported that STC also downregulated tRF3‐Thr‐AGT in the tissues collected from AP rat but not the normal rat.
Comparision:Disease VS Control
Mechanism:We predicted that the 3′UTR of Z‐DNA‐binding protein 1 (ZBP1) could be targeted by tRF3‐Thr‐AGT, which was validated by the following experiments, suggesting that tRF3‐Thr‐AGT degraded ZBP1 by targeting its 3′ UTR.
