[1] PubMed ID:39851057
Disease Name:Tuberculosis
Tissue:serum
Dysfunction Pattern:Up-Regulation
Validated Method:RT-PCR//High-throughput sequencing
Description:Levels of tsRNA-Gly-CCC-2, tsRNA-Gly-GCC-1, and tsRNA-Lys-CTT-2-M2 were significantly elevated in the serum of TB patients compared to non-TB individuals, showing a correlation with lung injury severity and acid-fast bacilli grades in TB patients.
Comparision:Tuberculosis and healthy control
Mechanism:After screening the serum tsRNA expression profile of TB patients by high-throughput sequencing, we identified three serum tsRNAs (tsRNA-Gly-CCC-2, tsRNA-Gly-GCC-1 and tsRNA-Lys-CTT-2-M2) for diagnosis of TB. Among three tsRNAs, tsRNA-Gly-CCC-2 were moderately correlated with lung injury severity, while tsRNA-Gly-GCC-1 and tsRNA-Lys-CTT-2-M2 showed a weak correlation.
